Frequently Asked Questions

Who will be leading the class?

At least one trained CraftBrainiacs coach will be online to lead each session. We are always looking for qualified coaches to help us grow. Please contact us if you would like to find out more about employment opportunities.

Do you offer any discounts?

We make it a point to offer the lowest possible prices to everyone.

You will receive a small price break when you sign up for one of our full semester or full school year options.

In addition, we are happy to offer a one-time $12 discount to all educators, first responders, and military families. This discount can be self-selected on our registration page and your total will be automatically adjusted.

What is your refund policy?

If you are not completely satisfied after your child attends their first class session, please let us know and you will receive a full refund for any unused sessions*. No monetary refunds will be issued after a child has attended a second time. Credit may be issued on a case-by-case basis.

*Processing fees may apply.

What are some advantages to this online program?

Meeting virtually with Zoom allows our coaches and students to do many things that couldn’t be accomplished in person. Some examples include:

  • Screensharing. This allows students to easily view and follow along with what their coach is doing, as well as showing off their work by sharing their own screens.
  • In most cases, coaches can gain remote control of a student’s computer in order to step in and help when students become hopelessly stuck.
  • Students from anywhere in the world can participate. Your child can still log in and participate no matter their physical location – as long as they have the proper supplies, that is!

What will my child be doing in class?

Each virtual class session will feature one of our fun craft projects. These projects are grouped into a variety of themes including Strings ‘n’ Things, Bead Bonanza, Wacky Wearables, and more. Supply shopping lists are available for each project or you may purchase pre-made craft kits directly from CraftBrainiacs.

In addition to crafting, each session will also include a short character building lesson that will focus on a featured positive character trait. These traits include caring, honesty, curiosity, and many others. Many of our meetings will include a picture book read-aloud that connects with the character trait, craft, or both. Group discussion while we craft will provide further opportunity for our students to build understanding.
